1/3 of Students Graduate Within 6 Years

Can you believe that only one-third of college students who start at a public college will graduate in the next 6 years. That means you or some of your friends will not be graduating. Listen closely if you want to succeed and have a heads up going into college.

From high school to college there is a big transition. There are many ways to keep your head above water in the endless river of school work, quizzes, test's, and exams.

The most important, number one rule, is time management and how you spend your time both on classwork and studying. Once you get your schedule you should immediately start planning times to study through the week and time to put effort into your studies.

Another key is attendance. Just showing up and participating in class is the easiest way to put yourself in a great spot for success. Talking to your professors may not be your favorite thing to do but it will help you as the professor has a greater knowledge of the lessons and the class in general.

One more tip to be successful in college is organization. Keeping track of assignments and deadlines are a major factor in getting good grades. With these tips and guidelines you should do great in college and be a part of the one-third of college students who graduate in 6 years.
